My Dear Father-in-law
After a long illness courageously borne, my dear father in law passed away with all of his family around him. I called him 'my mate', we got on so well, he was a marvellous man with such a lovely, caring and funny personality. When we found out that he had Cancer of the prostate it completely threw us all.. we couldnt believe it, its one of those things that 'happens to other people'. He carried on and never ever complained even through pain and through the treatment he had to endure. I am writing this tribute, hoping that he will be around and watching over us all, all of the time.. I loved him like a dad..
